The serene atmosphere surrounding the property provided a peaceful and relaxing ambiance that was much needed after a long day of meetings. The stunning views of the Drakensberg Mountains from the guest house were truly breathtaking. The comfortable rooms offered a cozy and welcoming environment, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mountain Retreat. The inclusive meals were delicious and the views were breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our happiness, and our room with a fireplace was perfect for cozy evenings. The surrounding trails and lounges added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. We wish we had more time to explore the farm and go on hikes.

We had the most amazing stay at Drakensberg Mountain Retreat Guest House. the location overlooking the Drakensberg offers phenomenal views that took our breath away. the hikes were beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the lodge itself was clean and comfortable, and the home-cooked meals provided by Jerry were delicious. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and wished we could have stayed longer.

It was truly a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Cons: Nothing to dislike.

The rooms at Drakensberg Mountain Retreat are so cozy and comfortable. I stayed in one with a small lounge and fireplace on the patio. It felt like a perfect retreat after a long day of hiking in the mountains. I loved that my room had a minibar and electric kettle. It was so convenient to have a drink or make a cup of tea whenever I wanted. Plus, the mountain views from my spacious room were absolutely breathtaking. The en suite bathroom in my room was fantastic! It had a shower and came with free toiletries. It made getting ready in the morning a breeze.

Personally, I found the bath in the en suite bathroom a bit unnecessary. But I understand that some guests might enjoy a relaxing soak after a day of exploring.

The lodge offers guided hikes for free, delicious dinners, friendly staff, and amazing views. the rooms have fireplaces and there are cozy lounges throughout the property. Perfect for people who enjoy karaoke and casinos.
